It's Never Enough (Don't put a limit to God)

Haha, i was on the bus home and the Lord put a new song in my heart.. Just want to share it with u guys, in case any of u made the same mistake as i did - to put a limit to God and just want a little bit of him! Haha, inspired by Psalm 86, that we need to be poor and needy and always wanting God. I realise that when i come to a point of "ok, this much of God is just nice for me", that's when trouble starts! Indeed, what we have experienced of God is never enough! Lord, we want more!

I've felt the Lord's sweet presence

He came and poured His blessings
He gave me so much joy

I really want to say thank you, Lord JEsus, for coming to save me, to forgiving me time and again.. Lord have mercy on me, and help me to love and serve u all the days of my life... i love you Lord..

Back from Retreat

Well, Came back from retreat, had a good 6 hours of sleep, and now i'm so awake........ for now. hahahaa.

This retreat is the best I've ever attended... Not just the place (wonderful splendid place..), not just cuz of the food (super good and blessed), not just cuz of the run (Miraculous 10km?!?!), not just cuz of the company (my dearest Ohana!), but above all, it's because of the Lord's deep work in our hearts.

Things that I have learned:
1. Purpose
- Die to yourself, it's not all about you. Then you will not bother about what others says.
- The movie "American President": "I was so bothered about keeping my job, I forgot to do my job."
- Choose to serve the children, serve my people.
- Listen to the Shepherd's voice.

2. Perseverance
- Learn to pace and run together.
- Learn to rest-physical rest, don't nua!!

3. PAssion
- Live for the Lord. Don't chase after things that are not eternal. Don't chase after things that don't last. They can disappear any time. Only your relationship with the Lord lasts forever.
- Say YES to the Lord always!
- Philipians 2:1-4, 2:20. Do nothing out of selfish ambition - Always think of others first!!!
- Go the extra mile.
- Passion: Heartbeat for the people. When you start to lose your passion - when it starts to be all about you.

Dear Lord, I thank you for the heartfelt sharing during the retreat. It has really stirred my heart. Dear Lord help it not just to be a momentay stirring of my heart, but Lord let it be an eternal change and softening of my heart to always be yielded to you. Lord i want to live for YOU!

on a separate note, by God's grace, we managed to finish running 10km on saturday!! What was most amazing was how much easier it was with each other's company (and jokes??! hehe). Indeed, running the race together makes all the difference! :)

Why this title?

Nothing much lah.. just that i was very overwhelmed over the past few days about the days to come, too overwhelmed that i started to hu si luan xiang! hahahaha... and even contemplated quitting!!! hahahaha... madness right.... then started thinking, which job shd i go to?? aiyo aiyo crow! hehe...

But yes. Take things one at a time! hee hee.

Must learn to be more thankful for everything.... ha ha...

i just had delicious hokkien mee for dinner!!! cooked by my dad!! hahahaha... really sumptous!! hee hee...
