Lord I promise
To sing of your love and justice
And Lord I’ll strive
To lead a blameless life
O God I’ll make a start
To have a blameless heart
To hate what You hate
And stand far from evil

Dear Lord
When I walk far
When I fail to sing your praise
When I think not of you but me
When I do not what is right
Remind meOf my promise

Lord you promised
Your eyes will be upon me
I will dwell in you
I can stand in your presence
You will defeat my enemies
You will be my strength

Dear Lord
When you seem far
When things seem against your praise
When problems seem bigger than U
When it seems hard to overcome
Remind me
Of Your promise
