Today at church, we sang a very old hymn... very very meaningful... :)

Know that the Lord is in Control..

Well, i was having quite a bad week.. I was getting very frustrated as to why some things are happening.. Doesn't seem right..

Last night i was close to my wits end. I told the Lord, Lord i don't know how to continue, and I have no more will to continue..

The Lord is good. In Psalm 46, verse 5, "God is within her, she will not fall;God will help her at break of day." Indeed the Lord helped me at break of day, when i was at the end of myself....

I found what the Lord spoke to me yesterday so divine and so full of truth, so i'd like to share it here.

"There are many things in the world that are not right. There are many things that are not going the way it should be. But God knows.. and He is sovereign and in control. Trust the Lord.. You need to do your part.. Things cannot stop just because u're frustrated with an imperfect situation, an imperfect world.. That's not helping things.. You need to do your best, and Trust... And let God do the rest."

Thank u dear Lord...

Chinese New Year!

Haha, happy Chinese New Year to everyone!

well well... it's been a good celebration so far! for one, it's a time of rest! i love public holidays! hahaha... and of cuz, it's good family time too! : )

yesterday, we had uncle chuan and family (which includes the cutest cousins in the world, xuan and yang), uncle huat and auntie clara over for reunion dinner... it was really nice! and xuan wrote me a letter! hhahaa.... so sweet.... had a really nice time with all of them.... yang is so handsome! haha...

shucks, can't find my handphone cable... so cant load the videos i took of them! hahaha... some other time then!

well, today it was the same ole tradition for us... morning breakfast @ amk macs.... followed by visiting of old relatives that we only see once a year! haha.... and conversations are 70% teochew..... so we busy ourselves with the snacks... haaa..... but it's still nice! hahaa....

some updates..

haven't been updating... haha... well, some updates on my life so far....

haha, things have been going on quite well... really thank God for his shelter and protection in all circumstances... at home, at work, at church... thank God...

Well, i watched the show pay it forward that day @ office... thinking of using it to teach our kids... it's a v gd movie... really leaves u with the question of what are u living for.... yup, at the end of the day, would u be the person to change things, and not just complain? would u seek to bless others.... really good movie. will use it to teach.. hee.

what else.... hmmm... well, this year, our church is doing "a psalm a day"... everyday we will read one psalm... it's been doing a lot of us a lot of good! really v v good.... keeps you grounded on the word... and for me, it really prepares me for the day ahead.... and as i go through the day, God's word will continue to speak.... it's good.... a deeper walk with the Lord....

Today i had a v v gd talk with one of my girls... i am so amazed at her simplicity, her hunger for the Word of God... it's something that i guess second generation christians find it hard to have... it's really quite amazing...

Well, these few days i just feel really blessed... haha, God is really good! : )
